My earliest memories of you are filled with
admiration, pride and a warm sense of
belonging. As a little girl, it seemed
to me, that you were a step above
all other women that I knew.
You taught me, by example, that if there
is a job to do, and you are capable of
doing it...do it. Gender has nothing
to do with your capabilities.
No matter what life has brought your way,
you have always met the challenges
with your head held high and a
strength that is quiet and sure.
So, watching you as I grew, it comes as no
surprise to me, that I have taken on many
of your characteristics and qualities.
May I say that I am honored to have
you for my Mother.
